The Benefits of Organic Powder Face Masks

The Benefits of Organic Powder Face Masks

the-benefits-of-organic-powder-face-masks

Relaxing with a book, a glass of red, and my skin smothered in a face mask is my idea of the perfect quiet, Friday night in. Anyone else agree? The way I see it...the mask is doing wonders for my skin, the book is expanding my vocabulary and the wine...well red wine has antioxidants in, right? So it's obviously great for my health.

My go-to masks lately have been the new powder masks from Corinne Taylor. With 3 different formulas, these masks are super gentle, and target specific skin concerns. There are some definite advantages to using an organic powder face mask, over a cream or liquid face mask.

Pros:

  • Powders require little to no preserving ingredients, so synthetic preservatives that can irritate the skin are easily avoided.
  • You can mix the texture of the mask yourself, so you can add as much or as little water as you like.
  • You can even add extra ingredients to the mask such as honey, as an antibacterial, or avocado to soothe and hydrate. (Be aware, if you do this, it might get a little messy!)
  • Powders generally have a longer shelf life so you won't need to worry about using it up as quickly.

So lets take a look at the 3 organic powder face masks available from Corinne Taylor.
