Summer Evening Makeup Look using Organic & Natural Makeup

Summer Evening Makeup Look using Organic & Natural Makeup

This look encapsulates everything we love about Summer - sunsets, warmth, golden light, glistening sea and a soft Summer breeze. Wear it to your evening events this Summer, with a glossy nude lip for a low maintenance look, or add some extra glamour with a deep berry shade.

Here’s how to create the look:

Base

Keep the skin looking fresh, natural and dewy with the Couleur Caramel BB Cream. This light to medium coverage BB Cream provides a moisturised base, and covers imperfections from dark spots to red areas. Then touch up any areas that need a little extra coverage with the ZAO Makeup Concealer. Apply a little under the eyes to lift any darkness, and around the nose to conceal any broken capillaries or areas of discoloration. If you do have combination/oily skin and tend to get a little shiny throughout the day, dust some of the NUI Cosmetics Setting Powder over the T-Zone to mattify these areas and stop the makeup sliding off.

Eyebrows

Start by applying some of the Hynt Beauty Eyebrow Definer through the brows. This waxy cream textured brow product provides a much softer brow look, compared to a pencil that can create a heavier brow. Take an angled brush, and start by applying strokes where your natural brow hairs are, filling in any gaps, to emulate brow hairs. The waxy texture allows any unruly, wiry brow hairs to smooth into place, and the soft pigment provides a subtle colour for groomed, natural brows.

Eyes

For this eye makeup, we combined several shades together to create a multi-dimensional look. First, we applied the Ivory shade from the Hynt Beauty Suite Eyeshadow Palette in Sweet Canyon all over the eyelid, sweeping it up to the brow bone to lightly highlight this area. Next take the shade ‘Rosy Velvet’ from Hynt Beauty, and apply this warm, reddish brown all over the eyelid, and underneath the lower lash line. Then add some depth into the crease with the middle burnt orange shade fron the ‘Sweet Canyon’ palette. To add a pretty touch of shimmering, golden highlight to the centre of the lid, we chose the shade ‘Caro’ from the Ere Perez ‘Beautiful’ palette. This golden shade (second from the right, next to the black), is perfect for adding shimmer and warmth to the look so your eyes glisten in the light. Next we need to anchor the look and add definition to the lash line with the Ere Perez Eyeliner pencil in ‘Bronze’. Draw along the top lash line with the pencil, and under the lower lash line, the pretty shimmer will look super flattering on all eye colours.

This look is definitely not complete without some volumised lashes. We chose Hynt Beauty Nocturne Mascara because it builds volume and separates the lashes at the same time. Remember to first curl your eyelashes to open up your eyes.

Cheeks

Bronze the skin with the Ere Perez Tulum bronzer, add this to the cheeks, temples, across the nose and hairline to mimic a natural tan. Highlight with the super flattering golden highlight ‘Sun Halo’ from Ere Perez. This creamy texture will add a dewy finish, and highlight the cheekbones, adding a glistening finish to the skin that will show up when the light hits.

Lips

If you’re more of a natural lip girl, a nude brown will work perfectly with this eye makeup. We chose Ere Perez Cacao Lipstick in ‘Mingle’, and mixed it with some BYBI Beauty Babe Balm to give it a glossy finish. If you’re feeling a little more daring and fancy giving a dark lip a go, try Ere Perez Olive Oil Lipstick in ‘Royal’, this beautiful deep berry shade adds a sexy, sultry twist to this look.
