Summer has officially arrived!

Well...according to our UK calendars anyway, the sun still seems to be hiding away here. But it does mean that we have the perfect opportunity to jet off somewhere hot!

Here are a couple of my favourite makeup looks using all natural, organic products to take you from 'Beach Babe' to 'Bar Beaut'. These simple, no fuss looks are super easy and will take you no time at all, so you can go out and enjoy the sun, sea, sand and cocktails with friends.

Beach Babe

Step 1

First things first, remember your SPF and never choose anything under factor 30, it just won't provide enough protection. Your SPF should be the first thing you apply to your skin after cleansing, if you need to, apply your moisturiser on top.

Step 2

Go minimal, light and fresh with your foundation. We love the Couleur Caramel Natur'Fluid Foundation as it feels really lightweight, but evens out the skin tone, providing a dewy, radiant glow. With organic apricot oil and rosewater, you know your skin will be taken care of all day whilst these natural ingredients work their magic.

Step 3

Conceal darkness under eyes and any blemishes with Living Nature Concealer. This is super long lasting and won't budge once it has set so you know your skin will be looking flawless even in the heat.

Step 4

Add some definition to your brows with a little powder. We love using ZAO Makeup Eyebrow Powder to fill in any gaps and define the arch. A well-groomed brow can instantly make you look polished, without looking like you are wearing a scrap of makeup - the perfect beach look! 

Bar Beaut

Step 1

To compliment your tan, give your skin a lit from within glow with the Living Nature Soft Lights Illuminating Foundation. This medium coverage liquid foundation has a pearlescent finish to give radiance and provide nourishment with its natural ingredients. It contains macadamia oil to help heal the skin and avocado oil which is rich in antioxidants and deeply moisturising, exactly what your skin needs after a day of sun!

Step 2

We prefer to keep things really simple on the eyes and just opt for a sweep of ZAO Makeup Cream Eyeshadow. Just dab a little onto the eyelid with your finger and blend. Follow with a few coats of Couleur Caramel Volumising Mascara. If time allows and you aren't too eager to head to the bar for that mojito, then slick on a little black liner for more of a dramatic eye. ZAO Makeup Liquid Liner won't budge all night, promise! 

Step 3

Add a little contour and definition to your features with the ZAO Makeup Mineral Cooked Powder in Chocolate. Apply this matte bronzer under the cheekbones and on the temples, and remember to blend really well. Then add a little highlighter to the tops of the cheekbones, the cupid's bow and down the bridge of the nose with ZAO Makeup Shine Up Powder. This is a light reflecting powder to highlight the high points of the face and gives a gorgeous shimmer to lift the features.

Step 4

An orangey red lip looks amazing with a golden tan! First, apply the Couleur Caramel Red Lip Pencil, and fill in the entire lip. Then layer over Couleur Caramel 223 True Red Lipstick for a bold statement lip that will last through dinner, cocktails and dancing!

Remember our top tips for helping your lipstick last - Apply one layer, blot, reapply, apply second layer, blot, reapply, repeat a third time, dust over a little translucent powder, then apply a final layer of lipstick.
