Look 1 - Soft & Pretty

This look is all about keeping things light, natural and enhancing the features rather than masking. The bronze, earthy tones suit all skin tones, and the matte nude lip will be sure to stay put. Follow these steps to recreate the look yourself:

Step 1. - The Base

As with all makeup looks, start by prepping the skin with a moisturiser and a primer. For this look, we used the Couleur Caramel Makeup Base Primer, which gives that gorgeous glowing look to the skin. Then follow with a fuller coverage foundation to even out the skin tone. We used the Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation in Latte for Maria's skin. Any blemishes were then covered with the Ere Perez Arnica Concealer, and a light dusting of Ere Perez Translucent Corn Perfecting Powder was applied to the T-zone only. This mattifys the skin, whilst keeping the skin on the cheeks glowing and fresh.

Step 2. - The Eyes

First up, we started by applying the ZAO Makeup Eye Primer all over the eyelid to even out the colour of the eyelid and make sure the colours don't crease. Then we used the Ere Perez Chamomile Eye Palette in 'Gorgeous' on the eyes. Apply the second colour in from the left and the blending side of the Line and Blend Brush all over the eyelid. Then with the 3rd colour in from the right, apply this to the crease or socket line of the eye to create depth and definition. Highlight the inner corners with the first colour in the palette, the slightly shimmery soft peach shade, to add brightness to the look. Finally, dampen the 'Line' side of the Line and Blend Brush with a little water, you don't want it to be dripping, just a little damp so you can create sharper line. Then draw along the top lash line with the deep brown shade.

Finish with a lengthening mascara, we used the NUI Cosmetics Mascara in Pango.

Step 3. - The Cheeks

We wanted to keep the look fresh so opted for the NUI Cosmetics Cream Blush in Karamere. This soft peach adds a subtle colour to the cheeks without taking the main focus from the eyes, it also works perfectly with the earthy, peach tones on the eyes! Blend this onto the apples of the cheeks with fingers. A highlight works perfectly with this look, so we stuck with cream textures and used the NUI Cosmetics Cream Blush in Mawhero on the cheekbones, again blending with fingers. This warm shade adds a subtle highlight and makes the skin look healthy.

Step 4. - The Lips

The lips were kept natural and matte for this look using the Ere Perez Lip Liner in 'Shy' to define the lip line, then the ZAO Makeup Soft Touch Lipstick in 433 Nude Sensation over the top. This peachy nude brings the look together, and the matte texture is sure to stay put throughout any romantic endeavours.

Would you try this look? We would love to know!
